After graduation in 1984 from the College of the Desert in Palm Desert, California with an AA degree in Interior Design, she soon started her own business in the interior design field, and she has worked in this field for over 30 years. She holds a professional status with (ASID) American Society of Interior Designers, and (CID) California Council for Interior Design Certification. During College Jeanie found her true passion, painting. Jeanie works with Acrylics, oil, Water Colors and Mixed Medium. Jeanie enjoys traveling and being outdoors, which inspires her to express herself through her work which is full of light, color & passion. Jeanie grew up in Modesto, California, where her father Roy Campbell, was a building contractor and stepmother Kay, and was an artist. They took the family of 5 children on many camping trips to Sun Set Beach and always stopped on the way to visit San Juan Bautista. The first stop was the Mission, then shopping, and lunch, and then off to the beach camping they would go. These are some of the fondest memories of Jeanie’s childhood. Jeanie lives in northern, CA. and enjoys being with her family and grandchildren.
Jeanie’s art is shown in Galeria Tonantzin in San Juan Bautista located at 115 Third St.
